DYPSOM continues to nurture intellectual growth and confident expression through

engaging academic initiatives.

On 11th December, a Debate Competition was organized at DY Patil School of Medicine,

Ambi, where students explored the thought-provoking topic of sympathy vs empathy in the

medical field. The event encouraged critical thinking, articulation, and perspective-

building—essential qualities for future healthcare professionals.

Further strengthening academic learning, an Integrated Seminar was conducted on 5th

February, focusing on the organ liver. Departments of Anatomy, Biochemistry, and

Physiology collaboratively delivered a comprehensive session, followed by student

presentations from each subject perspective. This approach helped students connect concepts

across disciplines for deeper understanding.

With participation from around all students, these activities enhanced presentation skills,

stage confidence, and academic clarity.
